Patient Assistance Funds

 
Patient Assistance Funds were established to assist patients in their time of need.  These funds are used to foster the healing process of patients while they are in the care of Hannibal Regional Healthcare System.
 
HelpingHearts Fund, which assist cardiology patients who need to purchase services and equipment.  Cardiology patients who have been diagnosed with congestive heart failure must undergo daily weight monitoring.  Some of our patients do not have the resources to purchase a weighing scale to help monitor their weight.  The patient assistance fund can provide resources for said patient.  When a patient is referred to Cardiac Rehabilitation to help them in their recovery from a heart attack or a major cardiac procedure such as coronary bypass, the sessions required to complete their cardiac rehabilitation require additional expense on their part.  The Cardiology Patient Assistance Fund can help with their transportation expenses.
 
Life.Light.Hope. Fund offers cancer patients assistance with transportation, nutritional supplements and other resources needed as they fight the fight against cancer.  Additional funds are used to assist families and patients with equipment and resources they need which can offer them hope and help when they need it most.
 
Back in Motion Fund offers orthopedic patients access to valuable resources and equipment to enhance services offered by Hannibal Regional Hospital Orthopedics.
