The Diabetes Center was awarded a grant from the Missouri Foundation For Health to support staff costs, along with supply costs related to diabetes education.

The Diabetes Center now offers a variety of group and individual educational session that enhance the patients self-management of their care.  It empowers the patient to take control of their health concerns and manage their chronic illness themselves.
